Limits
The notion of a limit is closely related to that of a derivative, but it is more general. In this chapter f will always be a real function of one variable. Let us recall the definition of the slope of f at a point a: S is the slope of f at a if whenever Δx is infinitely close to but not equal to zero, the quotient
