A hyperlinked textbook with embedded interactive examples forms the basis of the learning material. In order to provide fast and comprehensive access to the material presented, the textbook contains an integrated full text search engine. Complicated topics are presented not only in textual form but also using interactive examples which visualize the relationships, and give the student a tool to "play" with important concepts. In addition, the textbook contains direct links to the data laboratory for quick and easy access to the built-in exercises.

The textbook is stored in HTML format which enables the teacher to extend it by incorporating his or her own material. Thus Teach/Me Data Analysis may be used as a basis for specialized lectures which need some additional material on data analysis. Teach/Me can also be used as an empty template for your own lessons and courses - Teach/Me Data Analysis is just a first example of an interactive textbook based on the Teach/Me technology.

Any page of the textbook can be annotated by the user. The annotations are automatically tracked according to the user's name.
