How Does Ice Get Onto the Bottle?

With this experiment, you can make the water contained in the air visible.

Put a...

...1) glass bottle in the freezer.

Observe what happens when you take the bottle out of the freezer:

2) The bottle mists up with ice.

3) The ice on the bottle melts.

4) The bottle is covered with water droplets.

The water vapour in the air surrounding the bottle reaches its dew point due to cooling and condenses.
