Energy ChargeAuthor: E.E. Kimberly It is obvious that there should be an item of charge which is proportional to the energy used. This charge is fixed by the cost of fuel and other items of operation which are functions of the kilowatt-hours of energy used. It is called the energy charge and is based on the monthly reading of the kilowatt-hour meter.
