ISSU and Our Brain

Another interesting ISSU that should evolve is Shrink.issu the automated psychiatrist capable of picking your brain and finding out what you know and where your knowledge base has problems. You can tailor Shrink.issu to have any voice or schedule you want but basically it would ask you questions and carry on a conversation on various subjects in order to understand your brain's knowledge base. After numerous sessions, Shrink.issu would develop a model of your mind that could be used to analyze and detect cases of no knowledge or false knowledge. These knowledge defects could then be corrected through education.

One area of specific interest to Shrink.issu would be the analysis of emotional responses. Emotions are understandings directed by unknown or subconscious knowledge. You could question Shrink or Shrink could question you about how you respond to certain knowledge events emotionally. Since Shrink.issu would contain the combined experience of millions of other people, it would be able to figure out what knowledge directed a particular response. In some cases it may be genetic DNA knowledge that evoked a particular fight or flight response. Through special training and medication the DNA knowledge could be contradicted with a new understanding.
