Simulations play a central role in learning by doing, since the understanding of concepts and fundamental ideas is closely related to being able to experiment with a topic or a particular aspect of it. This Web site offers some of the interactive science learning tools which have been developed during the last years. Most of these tools are embedded in one or the other electronic textbook (see the references for details). All programs are available for Windows PCs only.

You may use these programs for non-commercial and educational purposes without paying any licenses. However, I would be happy if you send me a post card with a nice photo of the area you are living in, describing your application in a few lines.
