A Healthy Choice: Pumpkin Seed Oil and Linseed OilPumpkin Seed OilA pumpkin has sponge-like properties. It absorbs heavy metals and pesticides from the soil. Therefore, the seeds have to be checked. You have to book the seed purchase and the test results. Twice a year a food controller checks the oil for quality and pollutants. There are three different names for pumpkin seed oils: 1. 100% seed oil 2. Styrian seed oil 3. Seed oil Linseed OilLinseed oil is like a medicine. When rubbed onto the throat and the chest, it eases cough and sore throats. Furthermore, it has a positive influence on digestion as well. Linseed oil tastes slightly bitter. It is said to be the healthiest vegetable oil. The production is very complicated, as the roasting temperatures have to be strictly observed. Linseed oil is only stored in small tanks, since it turns bitter, and therefore inedible, very fast. Old linseed oil is made into oil colour.
